I've heard of that one before Berley, probably on the tv.

Pitty it's miles from where I live.

My mate once got me to drive to Anstruther and all we done was buy a fish supper and return home to Coatbridge, he covered petrol and it passed a few hours so can't complain

We also drove to Berwick-Upon-Tweed and bouight a sausage supper then drove home.

The chippy in South Queensferry is awesome! We go every now and again when we go to sit at the bridges, and yea it is more expensive than your local chippy, but it is a tourist attraction! Never tasted chips like it and wellworth the extra few bob

My brother called me a few months ago whilst out on his bike.
When I asked him where he was calling from he said he fancied a chippie and It was a nice day so he drove over to the Anstruther fish bar. Thats about 60 miles from Cumbernauld. He's always moaning about being skint but he didn't mind paying the petrol to get a good bit of fish n chips

He wasn't with you was he Witchy?

I've been to the Anstruther fish baronce and it was a nice fish supper but I think "Benny T" in Falkirk does one just as nice and the queue isn't nearly as big

By pure coincidence... I was planning to go to An'ster for a chippie this Sunday...

I was brought up on the Fife coast... so know this one well!

However, i had a really nice fish supper in Granton On Spey last weekend... can't recall the name of chippie, but I'd go back for defo!
